We were recommended to Openmind-Asia in early april to work on their website urgently. They needed a full overhaul of their existing website, to retain the look but implement CMS functionality and expand upon the current structure. They also needed the english version within 7 days, and the french and chinese versions subsequently.

It was a challenge, but being the good sport like we always are, we took up the project. We ended up rebuilding the entire Flash website from scratch, while retaining the original designer's transition effects as requested. All of the sections had their layout refreshed, and we expanded on their portfolio pages, firstly by adding database functionality and also an additional case study view.

It was a highly stressed 7 days as we fleshed out the entire Flash portion, and then fleshed out the php backend, followed by the admin interface and backend for data entry. Careful measures were taken to ensure the website's data structure would be flexible to support chinese and french versions.

We submitted the english version of the site along with the administrative interface on the 6th day, and the chinese and french version as soon as the textual content were provided to us.

The resulting Flash website was 20% smaller in filesize than the original, had all its client mentions dynamically updated from the database, featured easy content entry via a php admin interface, and was more pleasant to look at.

The folks at Openmind-Asia were duly impressed. We wouldn't have settled for less.
